So yesterday was Thanksgiving: a bizarre festivity that celebrates a massacre of innocent indians by gorging themselves. I went over to a friends house with a couple of friends of mine, and we had an amazing time. Never thought such a strange occassion could be so enjoyable.

Today was relaxing though. It was great to have the whole dorm to myself, get some rest and relaxation as well as some homework done. I'm currently working on a bridge design for my civil engineering class; got a lot of that done today, and the design should work out well.

Tomorrow, I'm off to Santa Cruz for a day out. Just a change of scenery. Something nice for a weekend when no one is around. I'm looking forward to seeing the sea again. The boardwalk is especially enticing... I hope to get a few photos too. Weather might cause some challenges though. Still excited but.

~culture has been put on the back burner for the moment, because ~aizat has just started a new job and I am moving.
